Wilhemina Liao was a Capellan Confederation noble of the Capella Liaos.

History
Early Years
Wilhemina was one of the Capella Liaos, granddaughter of Hurtong Liao, and daughter of Jun Liao, famous for his debauchery, which made him executed publicly for his crimes. Wilhemina studied sociology for six years in Sian University, becoming one of the foremost experts in Capellan political theory, serving a term in the House of Scions until 3147.[4]
Tutoring Danai
After New Syrtis' campaign, Danai Liao-Centrella was named Duchess of Castrovia, which pointed her as the Chancellor's Daoshen Liao-Centrella's heir. After Wilhemina asked him, the Chancellor assigned her as Danai's tutor. The 4 November 3148, Wilhemina met Danai, her cousin, announcing her new title and began taughting her the duties of being a member of the Sheng nobility.[5]
A day later, Wilhemina took Danai to visit Sian's Great Dam, as part of her teachings, before departing with her to Liao.[6]
When Fortress Wall fell, Danai led her regiment and others to the Republic world of Hall, facing the defending battalion of the Fourteenth Principes Guards and establishing a nascent Capellan government, with Wilhemina traveling with her to continue teaching her, supporting her and helping her greatly to incorporate Hall to the Confederation, specially when she helped to convince Themba Olatunde, former Knight of the Republic, to assist at the planet's integration into the Confederation.[7][8]
Death and Legacy
The 6 June 3149, Wilhemina travelled across Hall's capital, on a convoy along Olatunde, when a bomb laid by RAF guerrilla forces blowned their limousine, killing them both without leaving any trace of their bodies. Danai was devastated and furious with the loss of her friend, and when the guerrilla resurfaced, she ignored all caution advices, leading a counterattack, searching revenge. That made her fall into an ambush, though Danai survived. On that battle, the RAF soldier which had killed Mina was killed at her turn.[9]
Later, Danai tried to honor Mina's death using her influence to facilitate Hall's transition. When her father the Chancellor called Mina an acceptable loss, Danai was furious and demanded him to never mention her cousin again.[10]
Physical Description
Wilhhemina was described as lithe without being tall, dressed with clothes edged in crimson and gold, the colors of the court, eyes with almond shape and black hair straight and shining with a high sheen.[11]
