History
Griffith/Griffin had served with Durant Carlyle, since 2990 when the unit was known as Colby's Commandos.[2]
Kal was responsible for training young Grayson Carlyle in the various workings of the thirty-first-century mercenary life. He had been Grayson's instructor in the martial arts, since he was ten years old. Kal was one of the people responsible for shaping the tactical genius that created the Gray Death Legion.
He was described as having a hairless scalp, with a drooping moustache, and possessing a savage blue scar that twisted down his jaw close to his right ear.[1]
