System Description
The Chapultepec system is located near the Annunziata and Kwangchowwang systems.[2][3]
System History
The Chapultepec system was colonized at some point during or shortly before the Age of War, and by the beginning of the Reunification War was a part of the Apollo Province of the Rim Worlds Republic.[4][5][6] Chapultepec was conquered by the Lyran Commonwealth during the 2773-2775 Republic-Commonwealth War.[7]

Planetary History
FedCom Civil War Era
During the Jade Falcon Incursion Chapultepec was invaded by most of Omega Galaxy in late August 3064. Generals Adam Steiner and Archer Christifori contested the assault but ultimately ceded the world to the Falcons. In June the following year elements of the Seventh Crucis Lancers reclaimed Chapultepec after defeating the Turkina Eyrie Cluster.[30]
Dark Age Era
During Clan Jade Falcon's invasion of the Lyran Commonwealth beginning in 3142, the Third Lyran Guards RCT retreated to Chapultepec after suffering heavy losses attempting to defend Melissia. Eventually Chapultepec too fell to the Jade Falcons.[39]
IlClan Era
Following the Jade Falcon warrior caste's en masse departure for Terra, Chapultepec by late January 3151 had become an independent world. In addition to violent rebellion against the Falcon civilian caste government, the planet had three claimants vying for control of the world government.[41]
After the Vesper Marches were established on nearby Melissia, Duke Vedet Brewer sent a battalion of the Hesperus Guards to Chapultepec in September 3151. Upon their descent the Guards were challenged by five different warlords, but once their identity was known the two factions present at the spaceport welcomed the Guards as liberators, albeit without realizing that the Guards did not herald the return of the Lyran Commonwealth.[42]
Military Deployment
3067
Planetary Locations
- The Castillo: planetary defense center with adjacent spaceport.[42]
- Warrens of Dean: maze of rock formations and hills.[44]
