Bertrand Tsakalotos was a high-profile mining industrialist on Chesterton prior to the Jihad.

During most of his life there were several celebrity-focused publications related about his many romantic conquests and the number of motherless children he alleged accumulated over the years as a billionaire bachelor.[1]
His autobiography hinted a very dysfunctional relationship with his favored successor, his eldest son Salazar Tsakalotos, though blaming to his idiot friends in general and more specifically with Jonas Eccles, a small-time mercenary commander who befriended his son, presumably because of his family fortune. If true, this scheme backfired as he disowned his son when he left at the age of fifteen to pursue a career as a mercenary.[1]
