Seamus Casey was a former Republic of the Sphere and Northwind Highlander soldier, a member of House Casey.
History
Seamus Casey served into the Highlanders for an unknown span of time. The details are unknown, but by his age, he must have been a veteran of the Word of Blake Jihad, and maybe too the Clan Invasion era, where he reached the rank of Major before retiring. He was once under Loren Jaffray's command, probably in the Northwind Hussars.[1][2]
In an unknown date after 3134, he was recruited for the Grey Watch with his old Marauder, though he kept in secret. The 28 October 3150, he assisted to a field exercice where his grandson, Declan Casey, of the Twelfth Hastati Sentinels won the battle. Later, when his grandson went to a Warrior's Cabal, Seamus took him there with his truck. The old man, a veteran highlander retired, had seen the exercise from the training center. On the Cabal, Seamus salutated an envoy of the Republic which they were expecting: Lady Maeve Stirling, also a highlander of a distinguished Clan, which he had known when she was a child. She talked in private with declan, which suspected his grandfather was keeping something in secret for him, suspicion confirmed when Seamus cut the meeting.[3]
The 23 November, Declan's unit fought in the woods around Northwind Military Academy, when the Watch forces attacked. Seamus downed a Canopian Vindicator before retreating, but Declan was impacted when recognized the Declan tartan on a old Marauder.[4]
A day later, in a meeting at the Castle, Seamus appeared, alongst with Colonel Michael Griffin and Maeve Stirling, informing the presents of the existance of the Watch. The same day, Declan talked with his grandfather in the castle's 'Mech bays, where asked him about why he hadn't tell him nothing, and about the Watch's equipment.[5]
The 26 November, Seamus fought alongside Declan defending The Castle. He downed a Capellan Raven II and later engaged McCarron's officer Lindsey Baxter, forcing her to retreat. After the battle, Seamus talked with Declan about both units' casualties, conforting him. [6]

Seamus' only known' Mech was a Marauder of 3R model.[7]
Relationships
Declan was very near with his grandson, though he too keep a lot of secrets to him.[8]
