History

The Gargoyle was a Wolf's Dragoons Odyssey-class JumpShip. In 3151, it was permanently assigned to the reborn Zeta Battalion, and it carried to their raid at Gienah, the Wolf Empire's capital. After traveling from the Dragoons' secret base at Ilion through uninhabited systems, it reached the nadir jump point of their target the 29 May 3152. Thanks to fake or stolen codes, it posed as the Yellow Suns Free Guilds Aragon, from Thermopolis.[1]

The only Wolf guardship on the nadir, the Pack Mule didn't suspect their ruse, allowing Zeta's DropShips to arrive at the planet undetected.[2]
