History[edit]
The Werewolf Legion raided Hermagor, located in the Rasalhague Military District. Prior to their attack, the local Lagom-gumi yakuza clan tried to warn military officials but their attempts went largely ignored, as the DCMS favored hotter conflict regions rather than one so close to the Periphery.[1]
As per their usual tactics, the Legion divided its forces and sent one group to bare down on a nearby settlement as a distraction while the other group went after their main objectives. Wanting to protect the residents of their community, the Lagom-gumi hired a mercenary unit to stand in their way and keep casualties to a minimum. Though they were successful, the Legion still got what they came for.[1]
Tactics[edit]
The Legion's modus operandi was to put civilian population centers to the torch so that while locals were addressing the disaster, the rest of their force could hit their actual targets.[1]
