Captain Vincent Durant was the commander of the Fury-class DropShip the Samantha as of 3067.[1]
History[edit]
Durant operated the Samantha for House Brynd, a minor noble house based on Acamar. The JumpShip to which the Samantha operated in tandem with, House Brynd's Scout-class JumpShip the Daniel Brynd, was subject to a minor sabotage incident in 3067. This sabotage was caused by Durant's first mate Walton Stanton, who was acting as an agent for a rival Acamar noble family House Stevens, which was attempting to force House Brynd to sell them certain mineral rich lands.[2]
