The Tharkad Equestrian Society was a sporting association on Tharkad in the Lyran Commonwealth, which ran events such as equestrian show jumping.[1]
History[edit]
In February 2980, in his role as chairperson of the Tharkad Equestrian Society, Archon Giovanni Steiner was participating in one of their equestrian show jumping competitions on Tharkad in front of 100,000 people at the Commonwealth Dome. After his horse mis-stepped before a jump, Giovanni was thrown into the fence, and was mortally wounded.[1]
