Usage[edit]
This template is used for articles about living persons which are [semi-protected]] or fully protected, either temporarily or indefinitely, due to excessive violations of the Real People policy.
When used for semi-protection this template categorizes articles into Category:Indefinitely semi-protected pages of real people or Category:Temporarily semi-protected pages of real people if an expiry date is set. When used for full protection this template categorizes articles into Category:Indefinitely protected pages of real people or Category:Temporarily protected pages of real people if an expiry date is set. For talk pages that are semi-protected, use {{pp-vandalism}}.
This template will not be visible on pages that are not protected. Adding this template to an article does not protect it. Protection can only be applied by administrators, and can be requested at via them.
