History[edit]
The Pan Ch'ao was a Fury-class DropShip operated by the Capellan Confederation.
During an uprising on No Return during the Andurien/Canopus invasion of the Confederation between late 3030 and 3032 the Pan Ch'ao accompanied a mercenary company from Capella to No Return for Operation Zitadelle. It carried an infantry contingent to seize and secure the spaceport of the capital city New Freedom, spearheading the Capellan operation. This was achieved successfully.
It also brought several trucks carrying a field base and a modified Striker combat vehicle that was instrumental in Operation Striker, the second phase of Operation Zitadelle.[1]
Canonicity[edit]
Since the only source featuring this vessel, the Wunderwelten magazine, is not currently counted among the canonical sources, the Pan Ch'ao must be considered apocryphal as well.
