Badger: Okay, sir. There’s nothing left but Dupree and her headquarters. It’s an easy bet she’ll throw everything she has left at us. Reinforcements are moving in from the west and may beat us to the HQ. We’ll have to move fast.
Eric: I’ll send Cain out with Hammer Lance to fight a delaying action on our western flank. He’ll have to hold them long enough for us to nail the Major.
Badger: Aye, sir. Make us proud.
OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW[edit]
Pay Day: Time to show Dupree how the Legion deals with a double cross. Bring the battle to her front doorstep and take her out. This one’s for the Colonel.
DURING MISSION[edit]
Badger: The Steiner headquarters is just ahead. Enemy contact is imminent.
Eric: This is it, Striker Lance. Major Dupree is in the headquarters building. Let’s show ‘em how the Black Legion does business.
Radcliffe: Time for little Miss Dupree to pay the piper.
Isabel: She’ll learn the price for betrayal. Just let me at ‘em, sir.
Mathers: The Legion never forgets. She’s about to get a reminder of that. She’ll pay in full for her actions.
Eric: Striker Lance, hostiles at Alpha. Heavy tanks and Assault ‘Mechs.
Radcliffe: Those tanks are murderous. Sir, we need to take them out quickly!
Badger: Alpha secure. Proceed to Beta. If resistance is too heavy, seek an alternate route to the north or south.
Eric: Roger that, Badger. Keep me updated if you find out anything.
Eric: Beta secure. Moving to Gamma.
Eric: All enemies eliminated. No sign of Dupree.
Badger: Black Knight, we’ve got a ‘Mech powering up in your vicinity.
Dupree: Ha ha ha ha! Still playing at soldier, little boy?
Eric: Dupree!
Dupree: A pity you didn’t die with your overzealous Colonel. It would have been a far more glorious finish for the Black Knight Legion.
Eric: We’re a long way from “finished.”
Dupree: It’s a wonder you made it this far. Surprising the academy MechWarriors didn’t finish you off. Eh. I’ll have to step up regimental training.
Eric: Dupree eliminated! Get Howler out here for Striker Lance recovery.
Badger: Striker Support, this is Control. We have some MechWarriors in need of a ride. Good track and data.

Eric: Cushy job and a hero’s welcome? I can live with that.
Badger: Sir, Major Dupree is in the headquarters building.

Badger: We’re picking up a hot launch from the base. It…it’s not a missile! It’s an escape pod! Intercepting transmission.
Dupree: Orbital DropShip Chimera, this is Major Elissa Dupree. Prepare for low-orbit dock and planetary bombardment.
Eric: Nailed her!
Badger: That is the last of Major Dupree.
Eric: The Colonel’s been avenged. Let’s get out of here.
Epilogue[edit]
During the liberation of Kentares IV, Legionnaires carried the fight to the bitter end.
