Cornet Mathias Grange was a company commander within the Landmark Militia in the early 31st century.[2][3]
History[edit]
Mathias Grange was the commander of Dog Company of the Landmark Heavy Horse within the Landmark Militia in February 3013 when the world of Landmark was attacked by the pirate band Hawke's Horde. Outside the city of Edoras, his company engaged the pirates in the hope to destroy them. However, the pirates were able to escape from the militia while killing Mathias Grange as well as destroying nine combat vehicles and killing forty-three infantrymen.[3]
When Charley Hawke, the leader of Hawke's Horde, was later executed in 3015, Mathias' widow was watching from the front row before the gallows. She held a ribbon to represent the Hyades Heart that Mathias had been awarded posthumously.[3]
