Major General Linda Yamazaki was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 197th Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

Born to a family living in the Draconis Combine, Yamazaki's parents were killed in one of Coordinator Leonard Kurita, after which she was adopted by a couple serving with the SLDF.[1]
