Jenna Mercedes was the commanding officer of the aerospace fighters assigned to the Quicksilver Mongoose during the 2868 absorption of Clan Mongoose.[1]

Star Colonel Jenna Mercedes, as commander of the fighters assigned to Clan Mongoose's main WarShip, came up with the idea to eschew her pilots' traditional role of anti-fighter duty during the fateful duel between the Quicksilver Mongoose and the CSJ Obsidian. This idea, based on Jenna's observation regarding the Obsidian's lack of anti-fighter weaponry, lead to the disabling of the vessel and one of Clan Moongoose's few victories during the Smoke Jaguar's Trial of Absorption. Surviving the battle in orbit, Jenna would land at Kipling Base on Circe with only three percent of her armor remaining. Jenna would go on to kill fifteen additional Jaguar fighters and 'Mechs before being shot down and killed on the ground by Jaguar infantry.[1]
Aerospace Fighters[edit]
Jenna Mercedes used a Chippewa IIC aerospace fighter throughout the Trial of Absorption that destroyed her clan.[1]
