Heavy Facility Wolf-3 was a Clan Wolf manufacturing facilities/organization located in Clan Space.[1]
Overview[edit]
Heavy Facility Wolf-3 was one of several Wolf enclaves in the Tranquil system. In mid 3068, Clan Ice Hellion became aware the Hell's Horses appeared to be preparing to invade the Inner Sphere Clan Occupation Zones again. When Hellion saKhan Connor Rood met with Khan James Cobb to inquire about the reports and form an alliance, Cobb agreed. Ostensibly the first joint military exercise of a new Ice Hellion–Hell's Horses alliance, the two Clans staged Harvest-style Trials on Hoard. Unbeknownst to the Hellions, Clan Hell's Horses used the exercises as cover for Trials of Possession directed against Clan Wolf on Tranquil. SaKhan Tanya DeLaurel led Alpha Galaxy, capturing over one-third of the Wolves' holdings with the first month. Heavy Facility Wolf-3 was among the enclaves taken.[1]
However, initial Horse gains were reversed by Galaxy Commander Warren Stiles's clever use of bidding and cunning defense. Stiles bid the Hell's Horses down to the point of breaking the Horses, and his extensive knowledge of defensive terrain helped turn the tide against the superior Horses forces. By January 3069, Alpha Galaxy was breaking, and had lost all of its Possessions save one, Heavy Facility Wolf-3. On 16 January, the Horses completely stripped the facility and left Tranquil.[1]
