Vice Admiral Grant Baker was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 63rd Pursuit Squadron as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
A member of an influential family, Baker had been promoted beyond his ability due to his relatives' lobbying. A fine ship's Captain who never desired to be anything more, Baker had been a mediocre Division commander, and was an even worse Squadron leader.
His inadequacy was a source of frustration to his superior Admiral Harmom Kumar, and contributed to Kumar's decision to retire from SLDF service.[1]
