Gerald Lonergan was a notable warrior in the Second Tamar Jaegers during the ilClan Era.[1]
History[edit]
Sergeant Lonergan was almost certainly using an alias, having arrived in the former Jade Falcon Occupation Zone with a large amount of money while advertising himself as a gun for hire. In need of anyone who could pilot a BattleMech, the Tamar Pact accepted Lonergan's offer, and while his uncertain past ensured he was not fully trusted, he walked a straight enough line to avoid suspicion. Lonergan excelled at urban warfare, though some of his tactics were morally questionable. Lonergan's successes earned him a post as an urban environment instructor for the Tamar Jaegers.[1]
