Star Colonel Farn Jorgensson was a Clan Ghost Bear aerospace fighter pilot and officer during the thirty-first century.[1][2][3][4]
History[edit]
Operation Revival[edit]
Jorgensson was the commanding officer of Delta Fighter Binary, Sixty-eighth Striker Cluster, prior to the Battle of Tukayyid. His rank at that time was Star Captain.
In this role, in April 3050, Jorgensson participated in the conquest of Constance by Clan Ghost Bear during the First Wave of Operation REVIVAL. The Sixty-eighth Striker Cluster, including Jorgensson, was tasked with conquering the planet, then defended by The Honor Guard, a garrison force of five BattleMech companies and two regiments of armor. With major confrontations taking place at Cedar Groves and Harmond Hills, the defenders used every trick in the book to defeat the Clan invaders in this savage battle, including poisoning the general water supply on the assumption the Ghost Bears did not have their own reserves.[5]
Jorgensson's participation in this battle included leading her Delta Fighter Binary on a strafing run against almost a regiment of Honor Guard armor on 8 April 3050.[2]
Later Career[edit]
Star Colonel Chou Vong's weak leadership and questionable methods caused dissension in the ranks, and after Tukayyid, Farn Jorgensson challenged and defeated Vong in a Trial of Possession for command of the Sixty-eighth Striker Cluster.[3][4] Farn Jorgensson retained command of the Sixty-eighth Striker Cluster until at least 3067.[4]
Notes[edit]
Farn Jorgensson is sometimes misspelled as Fern Jorgensson.[4]
