MechWarrior Elis Sharma was a MechWarrior, who served in the Northwind Highlanders' MacLeod's Regiment, as of 3057.[1][2]

History[edit]

Background[edit]

While piloting the slowest 'Mech in a heavy striker company was usually an unenviable job, MechWarrior Sharma took to the role with dedication. Determined to bring his 'Mech's firepower to bear wherever and whenever it was needed, Sharma had spent countless hours in simulators so as to wring every ounce of performance from his machine. While this limited the time Sharma spent on traditional Highlander team-building exercises, his service record kept him in his lance's good graces.[1]

Battle of Northwind[edit]

Sharma was a member of MacLeod's Regiment's First Strike Company, who served with Major Loren Jaffray, and participated in the defense of Northwind following the Northwind Highlanders declaring independence from the Federated Commonwealth. Joining Major Jaffray as part of the anti-Davion faction of the Highlanders, Carlin fought against the pro-Davion Highlander faction and their allies from the Third Royal Guards on 5th October 3057 as the pro-Davion forces rushed for the refugee offered by a former Star League Defense Force fortress near the Tilman River, in a battle which was ultimately inconclusive.[2]

BattleMechs[edit]

Sharma was known to have piloted a GUN-1ERD Gunslinger BattleMech.[1][2]

Quotes[edit]

Ain't no fun out of the cockpit, but ain't no fun for the other side when he's in it.[1]
