MechWarrior Charles Bruen was a member of Charlie Battalion, Epsilon Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

As of early 3028, Bruen was a member of Heavy Lance, Shire's Company of Charlie Battalion, including during the Battle of Misery.
Following Misery, Bruen joined the Medium Lance of Epsilon Regiment's Fourth Provisional Company, as part of which he went on to also fight in the Fifth Battle of Harrow's Sun. He ultimately left Harrow's Sun with the Dragoon survivors, despite being badly injured and having a damaged 'Mech. During the following Battle of Crossing, Bruen again survived, though his injuries became more severe and his 'Mech was further damaged.[1]
