Boris Yukinov was the commanding officer of the Seventeenth Rasalhague Regulars during the Ronin War.[1]

Tai-sa Yukinov and the Seventeenth Rasalhague Regulars became Ronin following the formation of the Free Rasalhague Republic in 3034 and arrived over Kempten in August of that year. Witnessing the persecution of the remaining members of the Ronin First Sun Zhang Cadre by the Second Kavalleri, Yukinov elected to initiate a combat drop into the Kavalleri's rear area while simultaneously ordering the First Cadre to hit the Rasalhagian unit from the front. Unable to get the mercenary Terrible Treads to assist them, the Kavalleri was forced to retreat at the cost of half of the unit's destruction. Yukinov proceeded to absorb the First Cadre and begin field repairs before the arrival of the Second Sword of Light interrupted his plans. Rather than face an elite Draconis Combine frontline unit, Yukinov instead chose to surrender immediately and over half of the Ronin troops committed seppuku on the spot. The remaining soldiers were imprisoned and eventually executed for their treasonous assault on the Republic.[1]
