History[edit]
Lieutenant Chalmers honed her combat techniques as a gamekeeper on Northwind in her youth before joining up with the Highlanders. Far from the stereotypical hotheaded Scot, Chalmers was quiet and calculating in stressful situations to the point of unnerving the soldiers under her command. Though her reliable and effective ambush tactics earned her command of a lance, Chalmers was unlikely to rise higher in the ranks until she demonstrated more boldness.[1]
