Adam DeSanto was the executive officer of the Fifth Hastati Sentinels as of 3111.[1]
History[edit]
Colonel DeSanto, formerly executive officer of the Fifth Hastati Sentinels, took command of the unit shortly after the beginning of the Capellan Crusades and the destruction of Liao's capital city by the invading Capellan Confederation. When Brigadier General Candida Morello became permanently incapable of leading the unit, DeSanto marched the demoralized Fifth Hastati to the ruins of the capital in order to dislodge the Holdfast and Dynasty Guards. Unfortunately for DeSanto, the Dynasty Guard had sent a small detachment to encircle the Fifth Hastati in order to launch a headhunter attack. Occurring at Sheng Dian Ridge on 8 November, the Dynasty Guard troops' ambush succeeded in executing Colonel DeSanto, forcing the now-leaderless Fifth Hastati to halt its attack and fall back in wait for a miracle.[1]
