Major General Abigail Calliope was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's LXIV Corps as of 2764.[1]

A Lieutenant Colonel in the Free Worlds League Military's Stewart Dragoons, before a late career transfer into the SLDF after becoming disillusioned with political infighting within the Free Worlds League, Calliope retained a strong desire to secure and protect the citizens of her home nation and the rest of the Inner Sphere.
Initially being accepted into the SLDF at a reduced rank, she swiftly rose again in seniority, ultimately being promoted to Corps command. At nearly 85 years old in 2764, Calliope planned to retire by 2768, and was hoping to find her replacement as LXIV Corps CO from amongst her Division commanders. The competition this engendered between her subordinates was fierce, and caused a marked decrease in pirate activity within LXIV Corps' Outworlds Alliance area of operations, as its various Divisions sought bandit scalps to burnish their combat records.[1]
