==History==
Yulri is a study in contrasts. He is a brilliant tactician but a terrible strategist. For a Clansman, he is a master craftsman of the written word, but he can sound unintelligent when speaking. He walks clumsily and yet his ''[[Black Hawk (Standard)|Black Hawk]]'' seems to dance across the battlefield. He is an ardent Crusader, but the name of his BattleMech may refer to [[Ulric Kerensky]], one of the greatest Warden Wolf leaders in history and a person most Crusader Wolves would just as soon forget.<ref name="MWDADPCp053">''MechWarrior: Dark Age - Dossiers and Pilot Cards'', p. 53 - "Yulri Wolf"</ref>

==Career with the Steel Wolves==
He participated in the battle for [[Achernar]] in [[3133]] as part of a Steel Wolves Cluster commanded by Star Colonel [[Torrent (character)|Torrent]].  He was captured by Tassa Kay who kept him as a [[bondsman]]. Later, it was found out that Tassa was actually [[Anastasia Kerensky]] of [[Clan Wolf]].

Later he regained rank of Star Commander fighting for [[Galaxy Commander]] Anastasia Kerensky on Skye in [[3134]] against [[Clan Jade Falcon]] while piloting a ''[[Mad Cat III]]''.  In May [[3135]], he was dismissed by Kerensky after accusing her of turning the "Clan Steel Wolves" into a mercenary unit.  He traveled alone with his ''[[Black Hawk (Standard)|Black Hawk]]'' BattleMech to [[Solaris VII]] to fight in the games, where he wishes to put the  Solaris VII warriors to test his skills. There he met a woman who defeated him on a [[Dictionary#S|scrappers]] match named [[Jasmine duMartre|Jazz]]. He and Jazz with help of promoter Tommy Gunn formed a fighting co-op they called the [[Canid Cooperative]].  Through this he called for the restoration of chivalry and honor that used to be associated with the Game World. 

==Career as a Solaris Gladiator==
During the end of 3135 he bested [[Taz Arman]] and [[Philip Roan]]. In his first match as a member of the [[Canid Cooperative]] he destroyed [[Arstide Hiser]] 'Mech because his opponent had tried to cheat on him. This indeed began his hallmark. He destroyed any 'Mech his opponents had if they tried to cheat against him, even at the cost of his victory. Indeed, his only three lost matches were because of this.<ref name=WH/>

On January [[3136]] he did beat a [[Cestus]] with his Nova. Defeating opponents above his weight had become his own tradition. He also defeated [[Fatima Petrovitch]].<ref name=WH>''Wolf Hunters''</ref>

By July 3136, he had fought a number of challengers. However, the manager of the [[New DeLon Stables]] disrailed trying to disgrace the Canid by extorting its manager into sending in Canid infantry fighting team into [[Ishiyama]] arena thinking New Delon sending covert infantry team to kill Yulri's 'Mech.  Yulri managed to win the fight fairly, and the conspiracy was uncovered. However, both stables were banned from entering that year's Solaris championship.<ref name=WH/>

==Joining the Wolf Hunters==
At some point during his career, Yulri would leave the Candid Cooperative. He would later join the [[Wolf Hunters]], this time embracing the new direction. However, because of his bondsman status before the formation of the Hunters, Kerensky did not notice his absence.<ref name=MWDADPp338>''MechWarrior: Dark Age - Dossiers and Pilot Cards'', p. 338</ref>

He embodies the adaptability and flexibility that Anastasia Kerensky instilled in the Wolf Hunters. He can pilot any 'Mech, no matter the weight class, including both [[Quad 'Mech|Quads]] and standard bipedal 'Mechs.<ref name=MWDASPp118/>

==BattleMechs==
* Originally he was piloting a ''[[Black Hawk (Standard)|Black Hawk]]'' called ''Ulric'' in [[3133]] until Anastasia Kerensky destroyed it on Achernar. He briefly piloted a ''[[Mad Cat III]]'' during the Jade Falcon invasion of Skye.
