The Yorkwood is a species of tree found on Rochelle. Vast and towering trees with fluted boles, yorkwoods dwarf common Terran-scale trees. Such smaller trees can grow under the canopy yorkwoods provide - an oak tree is akin to underbrush beneath them.[1] Yorkwood hollows can be larger than many military dorms, and a falling yorkwood is a substantial threat to even a BattleMech.[2]
