William Matthews was a mercenary officer and the commanding officer of Narhal's Raiders as of 3025.[1]

Leutnant-General Matthews, serving with Narhal's Raiders under contract with the Lyran Commonwealth, was stationed on Poulsbo in 3025.[1]
During the Fourth Succession War, Matthews' men and the forces of Hansen's Roughriders were dispatched to take the Draconis Combine planet of Wheel in 3028.
