History

Six Avatar-class cruisers survived the Amaris Civil War and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus; all six Avatars were subjected to an extensive refurbishment and upgrade programme in the thirty-first century to produce the new Liberator-class cruiser,[1] including the Victoria Ward.

As at 3059 the Victoria Ward was serving as the CWS Victoria Ward within the Clan Wolf touman and was acting either as an escort vessel between the worlds of the Clan Wolf Occupation Zone and the Clan Homeworlds or as a patrol vessel within the Homeworlds.[2] The Victoria Ward remained an active part of the Wolf touman for the next decade[3] and into the chaos of the Jihad.

The Victoria Ward was one of a handful of Clan Wolf WarShips confirmed to have survived the Jihad.[4]

Note

According to Wars of Reaving the Victoria Ward was operating as a Clan Coyote WarShip in June 3072 and was responsible for the destruction or crippling of two Clan Goliath Scorpion WarShips above the world of Huntress, the Essex-class destroyer CGS Orpheus and the volga-class transport CGS Andromeda.[5] It has subsequently been confirmed that Wars of Reaving is in error, and that the vessel responsible for the destruction of the Andromeda and the Orpheus was the Vincent Mk. 42-class corvette CCS Relentless Pursuit.[6]

The correct ship should be the Relentless Pursuit, per Ben.
