*I noticed a couple things: 1) The table of contents box on any given page is stretched across the width of the page 2) The edit boxes (i.e. [edit] ) are adjacent to the headers, not over on the right as they were before. I don't know if it matters, but it's different. -[[User:BobTheZombie|BobTheZombie]] ([[User talk:BobTheZombie|talk]]) 20:50, 13 December 2014 (PST)

: Hello, Livewire. I am reasonably sure that if the character is canon (I don't have #12 yet), they will be added in some fashion. However, if you want to prime the pump a bit, and are not familiar with wikis, I'd recommend opening a similar character (maybe from an earlier ''Guide'') and starting an article named [[Rebecca Taylor]], copying all the stuff (text & code) over into the new article, changing everything that doesn't pertain and adding what is needed. Some other Editor will be sure to follow behind and correct any mistakes or add needed info. Good luck, and I'll be looking for the article (and the ''Guide'').--[[User:Revanche|Revanche]] ([[User_talk:Revanche|talk]]|[[Special:Contributions/Revanche|contribs]]) 21:21, 12 May 2021 (EDT)

:::::I don't know, I think that sometimes it looks a little odd in comparison to the text size; you could look at any [http://archive.org/web/ archive.org] page of the wiki to see what it used to look like. For the infantry page, see what [http://web.archive.org/web/20140918054139/http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Infantry the old infantry page] looked like. -[[User:BobTheZombie|BobTheZombie]] ([[User talk:BobTheZombie|talk]]) 11:42, 22 December 2014 (PST)

*New problem. There's a minor formatting glitch that only appears on my smartphone but not on a computer. Hi Nik, I've seen that the file with only have this category: [[:Category:Missing copyright information]] do not appear as Uncategorized... unfortunately, there are a lot of files with miss this but also other information and it is quite complex to find which ones only have the missing copyright... as those ones are missing some category else... :: I actually made this change intentionally last night. I was going through the site on a smartphone (iPhone) and noting when things looked off, or were hard to interact withFor the bulleted articles, I intentionally increased the line-height from 1.5em to 2.0em (so 33% more) for smartphones so clicks are easier.  For example, on the home page, there's often lists of links.  Before, it was easy to click on the wrong one.  Now, there's additional space between the lists so it's easier to click on the correct link without zooming.  Is there any place you think this gets in the way or looks bad? : Hey Pserratv! Sorry I'm not fully followingYou're looking for files that are *only* missing Copyright, but don't have any other categories assigned? [[User:Nicjansma|Nicjansma]] ([[User talk:Nicjansma|talk]]) 14:59, 17 January 2022 (EST)
:::Ah ok. The idea is a good one, but as it stands it's only partly implemented. Namely, the line-height was only increased for the first level of formatting, not the zeroeth or any after the first. Which makes it look like broken formatting: Article starts with l-h 1.5, then something is formatted with say a bullet/asterisk (*) and suddenly that text block has l-h 2.0. In the same article, l-h remains at 1.5 for not only standard text but also for everything after a second asterisk (**), for example.
+
::Yes Nick, that it is. I want to see which images are missing a real category as missing copyright is a "commonplace" not a category for me. It is good to know they are missing copyright, but for me it is even more to know which ones are missing a place like being an image of a Free Worlds League character...--[[User:Pserratv|Pserratv]] ([[User talk:Pserratv|talk]]) 05:07, 19 January 2022 (EST)
::::I tested two- and three-level lists and it seemed to apply the same line-height: 2.0em to them OK.  I decided to keep the main article text at 1.5em on mobile because otherwise it felt like all of the page's texts had too much padding. There can obviously be links in regular text, but lists-of-links seemed to be a tough part to pick the correct link as all of the links are stacked on top of each other. [[User:Nicjansma|Nicjansma]] ([[User talk:Nicjansma|talk]]) 10:11, 24 December 2014 (PST)

*Oh, and while I'm pointing out formatting issues, there's another one that has been bugging me for ages, even before the recent changes: Asterisk-bullets don't work in Infoboxes. The first one in a given text field will always display as an asterisk instead of a bullet, while subsequent asterisks display as a bullet with appropriate formatting. (This frequently pops up in weapons/armament listings for example.) [[User:Frabby|Frabby]] ([[User talk:Frabby|talk]]) 13:26, 23 December 2014 (PST)

Hi Nic,<br>
:::Go to the [[Hanse Davion]] article and edit it. You'll see that the "Children" field in the infobox starts with <nowiki>''and a carriage return before going down the asterisk-bulletet list. Help with Uncategorized files[edit]

Hi Nik, I've seen that the file with only have this category: Category:Missing copyright information do not appear as Uncategorized... unfortunately, there are a lot of files with miss this but also other information and it is quite complex to find which ones only have the missing copyright... as those ones are missing some category else... Is there any way for you to help identify them?--Pserratv (talk) 08:21, 14 January 2022 (EST)

Hey Pserratv! Sorry I'm not fully following. You're looking for files that are *only* missing Copyright, but don't have any other categories assigned? Nicjansma (talk) 14:59, 17 January 2022 (EST)
Yes Nick, that it is. I want to see which images are missing a real category as missing copyright is a "commonplace" not a category for me. It is good to know they are missing copyright, but for me it is even more to know which ones are missing a place like being an image of a Free Worlds League character...--Pserratv (talk) 05:07, 19 January 2022 (EST)

Bug with Module:LuaTest[edit]

Hi Nic,
Module:LuaTest shows up as a blue link in Special:LonelyPages, but the page appears to be deleted. Adding it to User:Talvin/Project_Orphanage#Technical_Pages shows it as a red link, and it does not disappear from the Orphans when that cache refreshes overnight. This is hardly a showstopper bug or even close, but it's odd. Talvin (talk) 10:57, 27 February 2022 (EST)

Strange, I couldn't find any way to make it disappear either. Must be a side-effect of it being a LUA module. Since it's not affecting anything else (that I can tell) I'll leave it for now, but if there's a pattern of this happening I can dig into it more. Thanks for bringing to my attention! Looks like a Bug.[edit]

Category:Spanish language products is a double redirect, and it looks like it is locked up in the change propagation process since 26 March 2022. It appears to need deletion.--Talvin (talk) 10:15, 14 June 2022 (EDT)

Thanks. I had to set $smwgChangePropagationProtection = false; first, then remove the page. $smwgChangePropagationProtection is now back to true. Nicjansma (talk) 22:32, 22 June 2022 (EDT)
