Description
Designed by Vandenburg Mechanized Industries at fall of the Star League, the Tigress was designed to initially serve as DropShip & WarShip escort. However, due to change priorities for the defense of Taurian Concordat, it was re-aligned as a system patrol craft.
The craft is principly part of the defense networks of the Hyades Cluster. Tigress Gunships were noted in their suicidal deployment in a nuclear strike the crippled New Syrtis Shipyards during the 3076 raid of New Syrtis.[1]
Armaments & Capacities
The Gunship was given Particle Projection Cannon and Fifteen-Tube Long Range Missile rack to snipe at targets at long ranges. The launcher is given 32 salvos of missiles, keep the ship well supply with ammunition on its week long patrols. For close in combat, the ship was given additional four Medium Lasers split between the two wings.
The ship's fusion engine is enough move the ship up to maximum thrust of 6. The craft since being designed for week long patrols, the ship has been given 15 tons of fuel. The ship's engines typically burn fuel at 8.15 tons a day.
Cargo
The Tigress has seven ton cargo bay, with a single cargo door.
