While theoretically it could have expanded deep into the former Falcon OZ, the Dominion was suffering from internal strife by late 3151 that sharply curtailed its available forces for offensive operations. Mindful of a potential threat from the [[Draconis Combine]] as well, the Rasalhagians ultimately made no attempts at territorial expansion into the Hinterlands for several months.
