Don't own Klondike, due to my vitriolic refusal to own any books which perpetuate the lie of Wolverines joining ComStar, but Shengli Arms was supposedly configured to build the Sling which is why it was used as the basis of the Duan Gung, does it shed any light on that link or who might have owned/operated the factory on Victoria that became Shenli Arms during the Star League era? :No. I just read the entry, and unfortunately there is no mention of Shengli Arms, Victoria, or the CCAF. By the beginning of the Amaris Civil War, Mountain Wolf BattleMechs had produced limited numbers on the Lyran world Vendrell for testing, which they conducted in the nearby Periphery. Though the design was being marketed to the Lyran Commonwealth, MWB began selling Slings to the SLDF instead, whose size meant they could use the design properly in its specialty role, mine-deployment and reconnaissance (H:OK, pp. 161-162, "Sling")--S.gage (talk) 17:41, 25 August 2023 (EDT)
