Was just reviewing unit sizes... can anyone explain how Regiment becomes 'over 126' battlemechs when 3 Battalions (at 36 per company) is 108 battlemechs?  where do the other half Battalion worth of mechs come from?? --[[User:Tempus|Tempus]]  18 May 2010
:Tempus, my presumption (as I did not write that quoted line) is that it accounts for optional command lances and divisional assets (such as scouts). However, the adding Editor should have both expanded on that statement (if my hypothesis is true) and provided a citation. ==Aerospace Squadron Size==
On the page it says that the squadron consists of three flights á two ASFs, though the page says "This does not include a Command Flight for the unit's commanding officer." maybe it's just me but the wording is a bit ambigious, does that mean that a squadron does not have a command flight or that the command flight is an extra flight (bringing the total up to 8 ASFs). Related to that, if a DropShip can hold a squadron of ASFs and the latter is true, does that space then include a possible command flight?

==Demi-Brigade Question - How big is it?==
I've encounter this couple times, namely the [[13th Royal French Demi-Brigade]].  I've seen other articles & non-canon articles mention this arrangement.  Is there actual hard breakdown of what Demi-Brigade is?  I know Catalyst isn't as big in wargaming as they just like smaller unit stuff, leave much of it for fans to decide. This would be consistent with the historical and modern use of "Demi-Brigade" in French Forces, where "Demi-Brigade" replaced "Regiment" for political/cultural reasons: see [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demi-brigade Demi-brigade on Wikipedia].  Given the in-universe historical connection to the French Foreign Legion, I would say it is safe to treat "Demi-Brigade" as a synonym for "Regiment" in this context. :::Yes, that is my take on it, though as noted, it's something that seems specific to the Royal French units, as an homage to their military tradition.
