The frigid world of Sigurd is the moon of a gas gigant in the coreward Periphery.
Geography
Sigurd is the cold moon of a glowing gas gigant, that orbits a far, bright F4 sun.[1]
History
Sigurd was originally part of the Rim Worlds Republic until the nations downfall that accompanied the end of the Star League. Unlike many of the former Republic systems the world was not absorbed by the Lyran Commonwealth but instead became an independed Periphery world. This Indenpendece lasted until 3012 when the moon joined Hendrik Grimm III's Oberon Confederation, with the goverment forcibly breaking down any opposition of its own population in the process.[1] When the Clans arrived in the Periphery in 3049 Sigurd was quickly swallowed by Clan Wolf along with the rest of the bandit kingdom.[2]
