In 2764 the McKenna-class battleship SLS Sevastopol was one of three battleships serving within the 52nd Line Squadron, one of the squadrons within the Star League Defense Force Fifth Fleet; the 52nd Squadron, also known as "Golden Fire", acted as the hammer for the Fifth Fleet. When the Golden Fire deployed the flagship of the Fifth Fleet and sister ship to the Sevastopol, the SLS Duke of York, would deploy with them, adding to the already considerable firepower available.[1]
