Description
Designed during the early years of the 32nd Century, Seleucus Infantry Transport was produced originally for the former Free Worlds League nation-state, the Marik-Stewart Commonwealth. Engineered by the Commonwealth's branch of Kallon Weapon Industries, the transport was sold to various factions whom were friendly to their parent nation.
The Seleucus-Class was designed as to be dedicated Battle Armor transport when all that was available at the time were multi-purpose Combined-Arms DropShips. These ships would prove over decades since their commissioning to be tough ready transports, keeping their Battle Armor clad troops safe and protected until they're delivered target destination.
These ships continued to serve various exLeague states and mercenary units well into partipating in the helping to aid in the reunification of the Free Worlds League in 3139.[1]
Armament and Capacities
The ship was designed to be tough and ready, which includes use of 54 tons of standard gauge armor with focus of the armor in its bow and wing sections.
Seleucus's weapons bays focus on long-range and hard hitting firepower, particularly in its nose section. Using combination of two Extended Range Particle Projector Cannons working in concert with four Light Gauss Rifles with total sixty four rounds of ammunition provides the Seleucus with an incredible amount of long-range firepower. Contributing to the ship's forward section's firepower is its wing sections. Each wing section is the contains pair of Extended Range 20-tubed Long-Range Missile launchers, single ER PPCs and laser bay of ER Large and ER Medium Lasers, and three Anti-Missile Systems.
The each of the ship's aft facing wing-sections also contains again three anti-missile systems while the aft section itself has pair of ER Large Lasers and ER Medium Lasers.[1]
Cargo
Heart and purpose of the Seleucus's is its Battle Armor's Infantry bays and their transports assets and cargo supply them.[1]
