He fought for the DCMS for more than fifty engagements until he switched allegiance to the Magistracy of Canopus. Rumor said this was because he had fallen in love with Kyalla Centrella, and since then he was put in charge of scout training in the Magistracy of Canopus.[1]

Scope was known to pilot a Stinger BattleMech, nicknamed "Centrellan Hope".[1]
