==Description==
The '''Schiltron''' was co-designed by engineers from [[Bulldog Enterprises]] and [[Cosara Weaponries]] to follow up on the success of Bulldog's [[Tokugawa]] tank. More than just a [[combat vehicle]], the Schiltron uses modular weapon ports similar to those used on [[OmniMech]]s so that it can theoretically be quickly reconfigured for a variety of mission parameters. In practice, the Schiltron is designed to provide command and control, as well as fire support, and its different configurations do not stray from those principles. Perhaps its only weakness, the Schiltron only carries ten tons of armor, forcing to stay well out of the line of fire, something that a top speed of 54 km/h does not always make possible. The base chassis carries a [[C3 computer]] that gives it the ability to coordinate an entire lance's fire, as well as a [[Guardian ECM Suite]] to protect the tank from enemy electronics.<ref name=TRO:3060/> 

==Weapons and Equipment==
The primary configuration of the Schiltron is meant to stay out of harm's way and launch its [[Arrow IV Artillery]] into the fray. Eight tons of ammunition give it the flexibility it needs to carry a variety of ammunition types, including the vaunted homing artillery. In case enemies get close, the Schiltron has a pair of [[medium laser]]s and four [[Small Laser]]s in a turret mount.<ref name=TRO:3060/>
