Fate
After the defeat of the Directorate, Santiago was handed over to the Taurian Concordat for the role he played in perpetrating the Perdition Massacre. It is unknown if he was either imprisoned for his war crimes or executed after being handed over.
Legacy
As the founder of the Aurigan Directorate, his actions would not only destroy his influcents, but House Espinosia as well.
