Major General Samuel Casteel was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 250th BattleMech Division from at least 2759 to 2764.[1]

Casteel added to the size of his Division by all means available to him, from bureaucratic maneuvering, to seemingly applying Company Store tactics to absorb struggling mercenary units.[1]
