Description
Short-Range Missiles (SRM) pack more power into the missile than almost any other kind. They lack sophisticated guidance systems, so they must deliver their punch at short range. The SRM-6 fires six such missiles at a time.
Like all standard short-range missile launchers, the SRM-6 is capable of firing special munitions, including Fragmentation Missiles and Inferno Missiles.[1]

Valiant Pilum
Developed exclusively by Valiant Systems for its Striker Light Tank, the Valiant Pilum compares favourably to other SRM-6 launchers, proving as and sometimes even more effective than other typical missile systems. Quickly overcoming concerns of its lack of battle-testing when the Striker was released in 3006,[22] by the Clan Invasion era the Valiant Pilum was widely respected and also used on a variant of the Manticore[23] and thanks to Clan Invasion détente at the time even being shipped to Al Na'ir-based Scarborough Manufacturers in the Draconis Combine for use on their upgraded Pegasus Scout HoverTank.[24]
