Rachel Specter (sometimes spelt as Rachel Spector) was an officer with the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth and the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces, most notably serving in Adam Steiner's 1st Somerset Strikers.
History
Remaining Adam's aide for many years, rumors persisted during the Word of Blake Jihad that the pair had had a liaison during an on-again, off-again relationship. When the bachelor Adam became Archon of the Lyran Alliance during the Jihad and pressure mounted upon him to secure the line of succession, numerous people expressed dismay that he would marry Specter, a "mere" commoner. Despite the rumors and perhaps due to the demands of decorum that he find a noble bride, Adam ultimately married Heather Fyhne, Duchess of Arcturus, despite his close relationship with Specter.[3] [4] [1]
