Pedro Ellingsen was a salvage prospector in 3025.[2]

History

He owned the Frumious III, a battered Explorer-class JumpShip.

At some point shortly prior to 3025, he found the wrecked hull of the Andromeda, a Star League JumpShip of unspecified class. This discovery made him rich and popular.[2]

Notes

Even as of 3072 the find of the Andromeda was still used as a metaphor for a fantastically valuable find in a "winning the lottery" fashion.[3]
