Oleg Tikonov was the Premier of the Soviet Union. He died in 2011, and his death started the collapse of the Soviet Union, ultimately leading to the bloody Second Soviet Civil War.

Notable Accomplishments

Starting in 2005, Tikonov initiated peaceful reforms in the Soviet Union until his death.

On January 14, 2011, Tikonov signed what would come to be known as the Tikonov Accords, with the President of the United States.
