Overview
Nobility is a state-privileged status which is generally hereditary. [1] This ruling system (known as feudalism) was once the source of power in the ancient time on Terra. With the expansion to the Stars and beyond it was reborn. It was the solution to the problem with the slow, unflexible behemoth of the bearucracy. The system is based on the exchange of responsibility + power. The ruler deligate some of his power to a his clan or trusted perons. The person now awnser to the ruler and is the representive of state in this territory. Many titles were granted as a sign for outstanding accomplishments or as a gift.
