He was close friends with fellow company commanders Greta Wellington and Greydon Brewer-Shaw, with whom he served in the unit's first battalion. He had a particular disdain for Hauptmann-General Fredrick Hogarth, which he was expressing when DBC reporter K. Madeline Schroeder appeared at a party celebrating the unit. Naseem attempted to defuse the situation until Madeline assured him that she had no intention of tattling on him, at which point he offered her a pick from the friends' stash of finger foods.[1]
When Clan Jade Falcon attacked the anniversary celebration, Mehyar took command of the ad hoc parade lance, laying out a plan for he and Greta to pin the attackers between the two of them and the heavier 'Mechs in the lance.
