Description
Created by Raven Alliance, the NL-45 "Gunboat" is a Clan small craft designed act in the role of a patrol vessel and small escort. Produced at United Outworlders Corporation's on Ramora, the NL-45, also used to augment Clan Snow Raven's touman aerospace assets by serving as boarding craft and Electronic Warfare craft.[2]
Armament & Capacities
Designed to provide heavy firepower, the craft's main arsenal is focus towards its front firing arc. Mounted in its nose section, it has two ER PPCs with pair of Clan built Class 5 Rotary Autocannons. Its aft firing arc is armed with pair of ER Large Lasers, to fend off anyone tailing it.
Its hull is layered with 22 tons of Ferro-aluminum armor, with two Anti-Missile Systems, found in each of its left & right flanks.
In its role as Electronic Warfare vessel, the craft has both ECM Suite and Beagle Active Probe.[3]
Cargo
Built in line to the original Star League NL-series transports, the NL-45 carries Point Battle Armor. This leaves only half-ton worth room for general cargo for the ship draw from.
