History & Tactics

Mario LeMar was a MechWarrior on Solaris. In 3132 he was one of the contenders in the Grand Tournament and ranked twenty.

Mario LeMar had won both his first, second and third round fights, and for his fourth match, he had been paired against "Magnificent" Mario LeMar in the Factory.

The duel became a brutal slugfest after both combatants, piloting light, ballistic BattleMechs, exhausted their ammunition after close to thirty minutes of fierce combat. LeMar finally managed an upset, taking out Byron's overheated Blade, with a rapid series of flamer strikes from his modified Firestarter.[1]

In the fifth round, he was paired to fight against "Roaring" Ronald Ghost Bear in the Boreal Reach Arena. Compared to most fights on that round, that fight seemed almost anticlimactic. The Clan warrior, this time piloting a Thor, tore through LeMar's 'Mech after only forty-six seconds, proving that even a heavier, more sophisticated opponent, could not match the ferocity of his all-or-nothing style of combat.[2]

BattleMechs

For the 3132 Grand Championship he was fighting in a modified Firestarter.[1]

For his fight against "Roaring" Ronald Ghost Bear he was piloting a Warhammer IIC.[2]
