In 2764, the Star League Defense Force Essex-class destroyer SLS Mahan was the flagship of Vice Admiral Ealadhach McWhorter, the commanding officer of the Shadow Hunters, otherwise known as the 195th Reconnaissance Squadron—a squadron within the Nineteenth Fleet.[1]
